Guest: What’s your favourite meal at Christmas, what do you like to cook on Christmas day for your family?
JC: Well it’s funny because I always stick with the tradition. On that day I think it’s about one thing, is to share. You know, tradition, legacy which has been passed on for hundreds and hundreds of centuries and I think I want to be part of that. Even me as a chef, for my customers I enjoy years after years.
In France, I have to say this country take it so seriously it’s a great feeling, to be part and also to be able to receive it. Because if I’m invited to someone cooking Christmas dinner I know it’s going to be this fabulous meal, whether I do it or not, and that’s because everybody respect the whole format of what a Christmas lunch should be. And I love that, I love the idea because I love to enjoy that.
